Pergola Styles & Materials

We offer a range of materials and roofing solutions to ensure your pergola perfectly suits your space and climate.

Natural Timber

Classic and timeless. We use robust, weather-resistant woods like Balau, Garapa, and treated Pine to create a warm, rustic, and inviting outdoor structure.

Modern Aluminum

Sleek, strong, and highly durable. Aluminum pergolas offer a minimalist aesthetic with zero risk of rust or rot, perfect for contemporary homes.

Polycarbonate Roofing

Want to enjoy your patio in the rain? We can fit your open-beam pergola with UV-blocking polycarbonate sheets that let the light in while keeping the water out.

Louvered Systems

The ultimate in climate control. Adjustable louvered roofs allow you to open the blades for full sunlight or close them completely for a waterproof seal.

Pergola FAQs

Do I need planning permission to build a pergola?

In most cases, open-beam, freestanding pergolas below a certain size are considered temporary structures and do not require municipal approval. However, if it has a solid, waterproof roof or is attached directly to the boundary line, plans may be required. We can advise you based on local regulations.

Can you attach a pergola directly to my house?

Absolutely. We design and construct both freestanding pergolas for gardens and poolside areas, as well as attached structures that act as a seamless extension of your home's roofline over a patio.
